Abstract

The article considers how the speech genre of interdiction functions in institutional and everyday discourses. The aim is to identify formal and content-specific features of this genre in different types of discourse, the manifestation of which depends on a particular linguistic context. It is assumed that the speech genre of interdiction in various texts will use certain means of expression and implement different shades of semantics. The main conclusions are of theoretical importance and contribute to the development of some theoretical provisions of communicative linguistics. In the course of the research, we came to the conclusion that in the texts of different discursive nature the speech genre of interdiction shows a special formal and substantive specificity of these texts under the influence of the context and participates in the execution of the main features of such texts.
